Our Mission
The Developing Children Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating brighter futures for children with autism and developmental differences. We believe every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and thrive—regardless of their circumstances. Through scholarships, inclusive programs, family resources, and community partnerships, we provide the tools and opportunities children need to reach their full potential. Our mission goes beyond education—we focus on building supportive networks that uplift families and strengthen the communities we serve.
- We ignite hope for every child to thrive.

Our Story
At The Developing Children Foundation, our journey began with a powerful belief: every child deserves a voice, a safe space to grow, and a community that believes in their potential. Founded by Rosailyn Dixon, M.Ed., CCC-SLP—a passionate pediatric speech-language pathologist with over two decades of experience—the foundation was born out of a deep desire to bridge the gap for children with autism and developmental differences in underserved communities. Through years of working closely with families, Rosailyn witnessed firsthand the challenges parents face in accessing quality care, therapy, and inclusive education.
These families needed more than just services—they needed a village. That village became the vision for The Developing Children Foundation. What started as a dream soon blossomed into a movement—one that would create lasting impact through early intervention programs, community givebacks, family scholarships, and the development of Noah’s Ark Autism Academy. Our academy and programs are designed with purpose and passion, offering not only education and therapy, but hope, inclusion, and empowerment. Today, we are more than an organization—we are a lifeline for families. From sensory-friendly classrooms and essential care products to fundraising galas and renovation campaigns, we are building something bigger than ourselves: a future where every child has the tools and support they need to thrive. Our story is still unfolding—and you’re a part of it.
